Urban Architecture & Engineering Concept — Tehran, Iran

Location: Tehran, Iran
Project Type: Urban / Mixed-Use Concept
Status: Alternative Design Proposal
Scope: Architecture, Spatial Planning & Technical Design Development

Engineering Urban Connections

PASAR explores the transformation of an ordinary urban bridge into a multi-layered destination where movement, pause, commerce, and social interaction come together.

Located along Hemmat Highway, between Phases 1 and 2 of Nahj al-Balagha Park in Tehran, the proposal rethinks the bridge not simply as a connection between two points, but as an active part of the urban experience.

Structure, Circulation & Space

The concept is organized around the relationship between structural logic, pedestrian circulation, accessibility, and usable public space.

Rather than treating engineering and architecture as separate layers, the proposal considers how circulation paths, spatial organization, structural requirements, and human activity can work together within a unified system.

From Infrastructure to Destination

PASAR introduces spaces for movement, gathering, shopping, rest, and social interaction while maintaining the bridge’s fundamental role as urban infrastructure.

The result is a conceptual framework in which infrastructure becomes more than a means of passage — it becomes a place to experience, occupy, and connect.

Designing Beyond Function

For Eivanche, engineering is not only about making a structure possible. It is about creating a clear relationship between technical requirements, spatial quality, and the people who ultimately use the space.
